Bahay ni San Jose is a Catholic educational institution established by the Dominican Sisters of St. Joseph. The School was originally launched as a Day Care Center for pre-school children of Bahay ni San Jose and other neighboring children.
Operating under the name of Bahay ni San Jose Day Care Center, the school opened with Sr. Leoncia Mateo , O.P. as the Executive Director and started as one room affair in phase II of Bahay ni San Jose. It open its door for the first time in June 15, 2003 with the enrollment of 11 pre-school children. Eight of them successfully graduated and they continued their schooling in the public school and St. Paul both in San Antonio.
On its second year of operation the Bahay ni
San Jose acquired 2 more classrooms and a gymnasium, thru the generous
benefactors and friends of the apostolate house. The new classrooms enabled
the opening of its Special Education School (SPED) for the Hearing Impaired
and Special Children with Mild Mental Retardation, Cerebral Palsy, Attention
Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism and Down Syndrome. These not only
help the resident children but also the physically and mentally challenged
children in the province.
The enrollment increase to 14 in pre-school and 3 in SPED. The year 2004 was also historic with Grade I opening of 6 pupils. All of the children belonged to low income families.
Today, Bahay ni San Jose School is considered one of the town's kindergarten school. It is also the only Catholic School in Nueva Ecija offering the special education program.
Some of the children that still live in the orphanage that have reached high school are referred to Sisters of Mary School in Tagaytay and other children are referred to nearby school and some to Don Bosco for Street Chilldren for Vocational training as for preparation for independent living.

We envision the disadvantaged children of Bahay ni San Jose and San Antonio to have access to quality education that will ensure the optimum development of their cognitive, spiritual, physical and social potentials ensuring them a strong holistic foundation for their present and future needs as God - loving, law abiding and productive citizens of our country.
To establish an institution that will provide the framework and infrastructure to realize and make possible the educational needs of the disadvantaged children of Bahay ni San Jose. These not only helped the resident children but also the physically and mentally challenge children in the province.
