Towards Quality Institutional Orphanage and Catholic SPED School ( Since 1996)
God's loving concern for the poor and suffering children inspired the Dominican Sisters of St. Joseph to extend their Apostolate in Nueva Ecija, a province in the Philippines, where they were wholeheartedly welcomed, inspired and further encouraged by his Excellency, Most Rev. Sofio G. Balce D.D., Bishop of Cabanatuan.

In June 15, 1996 marked the beginning of the newly established apostolate. A thanksgiving mass celebrated by Bishop Balce and Fr. Danilo Cipriano, Parish Priest of San Antonio Nueva Ecija was held followed by the blessing opening of the orphanage in a rented family residence of the late Bishop Vicente P. Reyes D.D., this would be the temporary home for the nine (9) orphans and four (4) Sisters assigned by Mother Dorothea Gutierez, O.P., Superior General of the Congregation to take care of these little ones. Sr. Leoncia V. Mateo, O.P. head and directs the apostolate together with three Sisters, Sr. Rafaela Reyes, O.P. Sr. Zenaida Salamat, O.P. and Sr. Elisa Fausto, O.P.
An orphanage for the poorest of the poor, orphans, abandon and multi-handicap children, neglected and victims of troubled homes. The institution survives to the help of countless benefactors and friends, and religious organizations in the span of almost twelve years now. Through the intervention of God and his mercy the institution continues. On its thirteen years of operation Bahay ni San Jose opened an school for the deaf and mute or hearing impaired, for the client of the institutions and the nearby area.

These are; The Orphans, The Abandoned, The Neglected, The Victims, of Troubled Homes and The Differently Abled Children.

The Bahay ni San Jose envisions happy children who have been liberated from their deprivations through holistic child development intervention, who are ready and able to become thru Christians and productive citizens of our country.

To enable c hildren in distress develop as total persons with capacity to have rightful relationships with God, themselves and others.
